General Information

There will be three rounds for the fiddle championship.  A Preliminary round will be open to any fiddler regardless of age or nationality.  The top finishers in this round will be invited to compete with an invited set of players in the Finals round.  The Top Ten players from the Finals round will then compete in the Championship round and the Top 3 Fiddlers will square off in the Round Robin to compete for the title of "Grand Master Fiddler". 

The Nashville Senior Open and GMFC Accompanist contests will have one round of competition.

TOTAL    $10,800    cash plus other prizes

The Invited Finalists receive two free nights stay at the designated contest hotel.  Contestants or GMFC attendees may also book a room at the special IBMA/GMFC rate.
