General Information

There will be three rounds for the Open Fiddle championship.  A Preliminary round will be open to any fiddler regardless of age or nationality.  The top finishers in this round will be invited to compete with an invited set of players in the Finals round.  The Top Ten players from the Finals round will then compete in the Championship round  to compete for the title of "Grand Master Fiddler". 

The Traditional Fiddle championship will consist of a Preliminary round, open to any fiddler regardless of age or nationality. The top five finishers in this round will then compete in the Championship round to compete for the title of "Grand Master Traditional Fiddler".

The Youth Fiddle championship will consist of a Preliminary round, open to any fiddler 15 years of age or under AS OF THE DATE OF THE COMPETITION. The top five finishers in this round will then compete in the Championship round to compete for the title of "Grand Master Youth Fiddler".

The GMFC Accompanist contests will have one round of competition.
